Why the name Kahuna?

In the Hawaiian tradition a Kahuna is defined as an expert or a person in charge. We believe that project management requires that someone take charge and facilitate the process of reconstruction or new construction projects. Our Kahunas (journeymen and journeywomen) are skilled experts in their respective fields and take personal pride in their craftsmanship.
